American White Oak (Quercus alba) is the most prized export hardwood from the United States, celebrated for its strength, durability and tight, closed-grain structure that makes it watertight and rot-resistant. Its golden-brown to light tan heartwood with characteristic ray flecks is highly sought after by furniture makers, flooring manufacturers, coopers and architects worldwide.
