American White Oak (Quercus alba) is the most prized export hardwood from the United States, celebrated for its strength, durability and tight, closed-grain structure that makes it watertight and rot-resistant. Its golden-brown to light tan heartwood with characteristic ray flecks is highly sought after by furniture makers, flooring manufacturers, coopers and architects worldwide.

• Density: 770 kg/m³ (48 lb/ft³) at 12% MC
• Hardness (Janka): 1,360 lbf – hard, tough and wear-resistant
• Closed-cell tyloses make heartwood watertight
• Excellent steam-bending properties
• Naturally resistant to decay and insect attack
• Distinctive ray flecks when quartersawn

Log Specifications:
• Diameter: 30 cm to 90 cm+ (small end)
• Length: 2.4 m to 5.5 m (standard saw log lengths)
• Grades: Veneer/Prime, FAS Saw Logs, Select, Industrial
• Treatment: Debarked, end-coated, fumigated and ISPM-15 compliant
