Western Red Cedar (Thuja plicata) is one of the world's most sought-after softwoods, prized for its exceptional natural durability, dimensional stability, and warm reddish-brown to honey-colored heartwood. Its natural oils make it inherently resistant to rot, insects, and weathering – ideal for exterior applications without chemical treatment.
