American Hard Maple (Acer saccharum), also known as Sugar Maple or Rock Maple, is a premium dense hardwood prized for its creamy white sapwood, fine even texture, and exceptional resistance to wear and abrasion. It is the wood of choice for sports floors, butcher blocks, fine furniture and musical instruments worldwide.

• Density: 705 kg/m³ (44 lb/ft³) at 12% MC
• Hardness (Janka): 1,450 lbf – one of the hardest domestic hardwoods
• Fine, uniform texture with subtle grain
• Excellent shock resistance and dimensional stability
• Light cream to off-white sapwood, light reddish-brown heartwood
• Outstanding turning, planing and finishing properties
• Available in figured grades (Bird's Eye, Curly, Quilted)
